Advani describes Saleh's 147 break a huge feat

DUBAI, May 06 (APP): Former World Amateur Snooker Champion Pankaj Advani of India described Saleh Muhammad's 147 break as a huge feat and massive achievement.

22-year-old Bangalore Advani, who conquered Pakistan's Saleh in the final of world championship in China in 2003 at the tender age of 18, rate him very high in the Asian and world amateur circuit. He said he still cherished the moments when he won the final against Saleh at Jiangmen City in China in 2003.

"It was an epic final as I came from 0-2 down and 5-5 tie to beat Saleh 11-6 in the final," modest and unassuming Advani recalled.  "I made a clearance of 135 in 14th frame and that gave me ascendancy", he maintained.

Pankaj Advani rates Pakistan a front ranking snooker nation in Asia for producing good player and for their organizational abilities.

Commenting on newcomer Muhammad Sajjad Rana, Advani said he seems to good player and got good temperament and breaking-building ability.

He said he always loves playing in Pakistan because he felts at home in neighboring country.

"Pakistan hospitality is tremendous and sports is key area in Strengthening the relations between the two countries," he said.
